Track Name: You're Right
Its 35 minutes by bus, or 25 on the train.
We’ve got to be there by 7, or we‘re going to miss the start of the game.
You tell me to take it easy, my stress is rubbing off, its making you feel uneasy - You say enough’s enough.

Yes love you’re right, you’re right again
- Long may the status quo remain.
Yes love you’re right, there’s no change
- I’ll never come to doubt your word again.

I’ve been waiting here forever, for you to finish your hair.
Our only chance is a taxi, and you’re going to pay the fare.
You don’t like the way I’m speaking, but I tell you it’s just as well.
If you knew just what I’m thinking there’d be all merry hell.

It’s 7 past 7 already and there’s 4 more sets of lights.
Maybe you’ll admit this time that I had it right.
But no you blame the cabbie, you say he took the long way round.
If he’d taken your directions we would be at the ground.
Track Name: This Season
For the first time this season, you gave me a reason to apologise to you once more, it’s becoming a bit of a chore.
When we’ve just had a ding-dong, I want to make up and move on, but you’re walking right out of the door, I thought that you needed me more.

If it’s broken I will fix it - what more can I do?
I don’t need anything but you.

At the heart of the matter is a bit of a temper, that you’re finding too hard to control, and all I can do is cajole you right out of your stinker, but you’re a free thinker. Is it my time to give you some space or is something else taking my place?

If it’s broken I will fix it - what more can I do?
I don’t need anything but you.
Track Name: SOS
First things first I’m still chasing, 24/7 my mind’s racing looking for the things that I don’t know. Day by day these walls keep growing, against the tide I keep rowing. Which way now does this river flow?

I’ve lost my way, I’ve lost my soul, I’m just waiting for god to come and take me home. Can you hear my SOS?

Night after night dawn keeps breaking, I can’t think when my mind’s aching, it’s like some twisted talk show.

There’s never been a reason, for your acts of treason but I stand by you - I’m defined by you. It’s just another season, of life without reason. You’ve got to keep hold of what you’ve got because nothing ever lasts forever.

Can you hear my SOS? Can you hear my call for help in the midnight hour?
Track Name: Shadow Of Your Days
It starts as a dream then it fades away, you’ve lost your keys and there’s no place to stay it’s over. The dreams we have as children fade away.

We all start together it’s in our own hands, reach for the stars and the golden sands, move over. You’ve seen what you want now tell them you’re here to stay.

You’ve got your chance so take it and make it pay.
Don’t leave it until tomorrow just do it today.
Life is what you make it, you’ve got your chance so take it, or be happy in the shadow of your days.

Buoyed by the breath of a natural high, feeling taller with no need to sigh, go forward. It’s true when they say that fortune favours the brave. Forgiving won’t kill you it will make you strong, show those that doubt that they are wrong, go forward. Or just turn around and head straight for your grave.
Track Name: Complicated Kisses
I want to stay she wants to go, before we’ve even said our hellos. But I beg and I plead and I ask her why, if I go too far she’ll start to cry - I know. Oh don’t I know.

And you’re telling me things that I’ve already heard, she’s just my ex stop being so absurd. But you sit and you sulk and you make it clear that I’m to go nowhere near - I know. Oh don’t I know. Oh yes I know.

I take her back though, I take her back though, it’s the last place I want to go.

And we’re back at home in front of the TV, she falls asleep and I go back to see, if the party’s on - it’s going strong. I’m single now but not for long, let’s go - oh baby let’s go. Oh yes let’s go now ho let’s go.

No more complicated kisses no more hits and no more misses now she’s gone.
Track Name: Walla Mulla
I’d like to tell you a little story about a place in eastern Sydney, that place is called Woolloomooloo. You see it’s got the rich and it’s got the famous, it’s got the poor and it’s got the outrageous.
But most important of all, it’s got you.

It’s more than my home, it’s the only place I roam, I’m never short of anything to do. It’s full of real people like you, in Woolloomooloo.

It’s got Kings Cross one side, the city on the other. Whatever your fix now we’ve got it covered. If you want to get down and see some skin, we’re right next door to the suburb of sin. Nightclubs, fightclubs, places to stay. Girls in doorways on the game. If you don’t want to pay because you find it sleazy, the backpackers here are - pretty easy. If bright lights & drunk fights aren’t your thing, I’ll take you to a place where we all can sing. And drink and laugh and all enjoy - I’ll take you to the Old Fitzroy. But bricks and mortar don’t make a pub, it’s the people that live in the neighbourhood. Different stories to tell different, and points of view - that’s why I love it in Woolloomooloo.

It’s more than my home, it’s the only place I roam. I’m never short of anything to do. It’s full of real people like you, in Woolloomooloo.
Track Name: Running
I’m running running running. Over places running. Gotta make up my mind, Gettin’ way out of time. I would have loved it, if you gave it to me on a golden platter. I just wanna get in your head, if you know what I mean, cause I know you planted Evil little ideas that are going to make me want to stay...

I’m running running running All my face is running. Gotta wake up my mind, gettin’ way out of kind. I would’ve loved you if you were the last
one on the frozen planet. I didn’t wanna get out of bed cause I know what I lost, and I know I planned it, every little detail that will lose you in self-sabotage...

You didn’t have to run away...I could’ve changed, but I let you slip away... You shouldn’t let me run away... Aye, love is Grand! Divorce is a hundred K.

I’m running running running, Dunno why I’m running. Now I’ve made up my mind Way way way out of time. I’ll take us through the eye of the needle if you want and I know you’re willing. I just wanna get on with life, cause I know what we need and I know we’ve plenty Things to occupy
the time that take us to a higher plain...

You didn’t have to run away... I could’ve changed, but I let you slip away…
You shouldn’t let me run away... no. Aye, love is grand. Divorce is a hundred K. Divorce is a hundred K, or I could stay.
Maybe it’s OK for me to stay.
Track Name: Chasing Down The Sun
I find it hard to like a man who’s bold and brash and thinks he knows it all. But just this once I think I know right exactly where he’s coming from.

In this age of changing places we’re forever chasing what has gone. It’s wrong - it’s wrong to carry on, chasing down the sun. It’s time we opened up our minds to all the things that keep us dumb, and shone - we’ve only just begun, turning up the sun.

And we sit back and watch it all fall apart as the beast just carries on. Digging for the golden globe, chasing night, when will it come
to dawn?

We can’t hide or freeze time as we decrease our timeline.
We’ll soon find that mankind can’t keep on keeping on this way.
Track Name: Ancestors
My grandfather and my grandfather’s mother and the ones who came before her do they all watch over? Do they hear what we say, do they guide us on our way, are they judging the decisions we make?

Are they floating all around, do they pick up every sound of our feet as they’re hitting the ground? Do the things that they learnt many lifetimes ago just disappear into the wind?

It’s up in the air if I’ll meet them there at the cold, dark end of the day. It’s up in the air if I’ll meet them there of if there’s anything there anyway.

My ancestors and their ancestors share genetic information that serves to connect us with the dawning of time and it plays on my mind how I came to be the man that I am. Do their souls linger on when they are buried and gone in a place that we don’t understand? Will the questions we ask now that their time has passed forever remain in our hands?
Track Name: Let's All Just Pretend
It’s been 26 years since we last spoke, and to this day it makes me choke, back the tears and back the fears and memories of wasted years. And I don’t know what it is I did, and I don’t know what it is I said, but if you owe me one thing after all this time it’s to help me put this thing to bed. And I never thought that you’d get in touch, and when you did it was just all too much, I need to clear my head and get some air, leave the house get out of there. You say that blood runs thicker than water, well tell my why it took you so long to sort your shit out mate - you should know better than that: you’re my father.

After all these years – too little too late. Wasted all those tears – one life one fate. Is it ever too late to start it all again? Let’s all make amends, or let’s all just pretend. That all things past are fixed and we’re all friends, united once again, let’s all just pretend.

I tried to shake you from my mind, but I’m going insane trying to find, what it is I’m thinking, what it is I’m feeling, and how to play these cards you’re dealing. Part of me just wants you to suffer, at least until I start to recover - I mean for so long you just didn’t want to know, then you send one email and it’s all systems go. But for the first time it’s me in control, i’m not showing my hand and I’m not going to fold. It’s my turn to leave you out in the cold, and don’t let it be said you’ve never been told. So don’t tell me bloods thicker than water, and don’t come back until you sort your shit out mate. You should know better than that: you’re my father.
Track Name: All On The Inside
It’s been six weeks now since he left this town, judge looked up and said “You’re going down“. And we know now what’s he’s going to do, 26 years is a long time through but he he don’t talk too much, when the rest are behind him. He won’t give it up, when he’s stuck here for a lifetime.

It’s been six years now and he’s settled in. Not quite hell but full of sin. Too easy with the screws on side. When they’re on the pay it’s no surprise that he don’t find it tough, when it keeps on coming. It only gets rough when things stop happening.

In through the back gate, you could feel the weight. Get it in quick, better not be late. If they catch him and the chief finds out, riot inside if there’s a drought. They’ll do him for the crime, throw away the key but he can’t do more time when it’s all on the inside.
Track Name: 4am
It’s 4am I’m fast asleep – waiting for the clock to beep - and wake me for another day – see just what the world will say. My ex is out she’s on the town – with her friends from all around - celebrating tall and proud – she calls me, she’s pissed and loud.

She loves me, she hates me, she laughs then berates me. I’m still missing the romance, the thought of our last dance. It warms me, it chills me, it scares me and thrills me. I’m still coming to terms with the fact that I’m now living on my own.

God damn this mobile phone - it just wakes me to the unknown.

She said: I’m just an also ran with beat up feelings, a lousy lover never found her ceiling, I had my chances and let them all just fall. I ask again can we give it one last go, she takes the piss then says “hell fuck no”, if that’s the case when why the hell did you call?

So I lie in bed wide awake - wondering which path to take - when it hits me right between the eyes – my path’s been chosen by her lies. I’ve only got myself to blame - way too soft and way too lame - now I see it’s only you – listen here, I’m angry too. You played me, you pawned me, then walked on beyond me, and left me just waiting, whilst toying and baiting. With any old taker, you two-timing faker.

I’m still coming to terms with the fact that I’m now living on my own. You know that I still dream of you, because the things you do, always will, make me cry for you. I’ll cry alone, waiting for the time you come on home, just come on home, just come alone.
